So here’s the very expensive kitty that I was talking about. Her name is meow meow. She talks non stop, her vocabulary consist of meow, meeeeooowww, brrrrrrrruuuuu and eh. If you talk to her she talk back for 5 minutes! Anyway the top is was a few weeks after I found her, the top right is what I woke up to, and the bottom is her with the cone of shame cuz I caught her biting her staples. The cone they gave her was too big n heavy that it droops her head down. My sister brought this one over and it’s a lot lighter, now she looks like a flower 😂

She seems to be doing good. But she’s being a pain in the ass trying to run outside every chance she gets. They said after 10 days the staples can come out. It’s only been 3 and it feels like weeks!

They like to scare us when they are recovering for sure. Thanks so much for the cute face to put with the story. She’s adorable and naughty. I had a Sheltie that kept ripping his stitches out so many times he nearly died. Once right after we took him back to vet to get repaired, were leaving and he did it in the truck. With the cone on! Omg these four legged babies😹. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your little black baby

Lol she’s not the cutest but she’s the sweetest. She comes sit on my lap every chance she gets and starts a conversation and I entertain her. She holds up a conversation better than most girls on bumble 😂
Thanks everyone. I hope she gets better too. I have a fear of it ripping out again cuz the last one hurt my wallet. And now I have to trim my protein intake 😒

My cat fidget actually pulled his stitches out too. After he was attacked by a feral cat (very expensive to save his life). Thank god he didn’t quite look like your poor sweet girl there, he didn’t get that far. But after that he got restitched we had to put not only a cone out also dog t-shirts on him for weeks, because he was so determined to get at those stitches. Maybe some t-shirts would help protect your sweet girl?
