Raining again today & we're getting thunder with it. Staying home is hard enough without not being able to get out for a walk. Makes it hard with the dogs. They aren't fond of pooping in the rain 😐
I think since we've not been going out to eat at all Hubby is trying to make it easy on me. When asked what his preference was for dinner yesterday he told me soup & a sandwich or salad was fine. Hence, last night's BLT & soup. It was actually pretty yummy 😋
Some of our local restaurants are doing curbside pickup....think we need to take advantage soon in support of small business. They're even allowing takeout beer & wine in sealed containers.
My daughter in Dallas is finally working from home. Her work laptop arrived yesterday & she was able to set up her work station. Since she has compromised immunity I'm happy to see her have less exposure. My grandsons both have jobs that are considered essential....one is in Mgt at a grocery store the other works for a cable/ Internet provider. They do still have work but they're out in the public.
We watched The Voice on TV last night. Hubby & I both love music and it's a great distraction. Some talented singers this season!
I hadn't been too tempted by less desirable snacks but they have been calling my name the past few days. I have mine & Hubby had his...and his are sounding tastier 🤐 So far I've resisted but the willpower may just be getting weaker. As long as I don't sit down with a full bag of chips I guess I'll be OK.
